Message to put the "tongs" (LOL) back into place, and it works fine. Just keep an eye to see when the caps come loose, then you might want to reinforce some more. I put a lot of whatever adhesive shit on the backside of the tong to strengthen the caps and more on the raised tab to make a more tight/firm fit with the wheel. I also scream at my tire guy to be gentle when popping them out to balance wheels so he doesn't break them! I say the JB weld because it works on plastic, has the highest heat capacity I've found (in terms of range of operating temps) and doesn't get guooey after track days, it stays pretty solid in this application!

It actually works very well. I used to daily drive and track my Z with the stock chrome wheels and caps, I had no problems, and was always rollin with 4 chrome center caps!!!
